Nicosia, October 31, 2025 (TAK): President Tufan Erhürman, in a letter to Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, said that the European Parliament’s decision to fund a memorial honoring the victims and missing persons of 1974 was biased, political, and far from reflecting historical facts. He called for the reversal of the decision.
