Nicosia, March 26, 2026 (TAK): Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has criticized Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Christodoulides over his statement that Turkish Cypriots can only have a say on the British bases after returning to the “Republic of Cyprus,” and that Türkiye can do so only after recognizing the “Republic of Cyprus.”
